Whether and how this may affect musical artist in the future remains to be seen, but Fox Rothschild IP litigator Jeff Kravitz was quoted in Law 360 to suggest that musical artists may feel compelled to order pre-release clearance review by copyright counsel, in the same way that films and TV shows are reviewed before release.
